Type specimens:
- Ingelarella undulosa: UNE F5840, a shell (Articulated internal mould). Its type locality is Homevale, 3 miles SSW, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.
- Ingelarella cessnockensis: UNE 12504. Its type locality is UNE L990, Kitchener forestry track, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Elderslie Formation of Australia.
