Type specimen: UNESPl-BU71, a carapace. Its type locality is Quarry Triângulo, BR-050 (km 50), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Serra da Galga Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at Quarry Triângulo, BR-050 (km 50)
