Type specimen: MNHN (P) NIR 1, a skull (nearly complete skull lacking lower jaws). Its type locality is East of Ibeceten, which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in Niger.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Mali (1 collection)
• Cretaceous of Niger (1)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
