Type specimen: USNM 536286, a carapace. Its type locality is LACMIP 12385, Humptulips Fm, which is in a Lutetian deep subtidal siltstone/sandstone in the Humptulips Formation of Washington.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at LACMIP 12385, Humptulips Fm
