Type specimen: UM 76882, a partial skeleton (fragmentary sternum, coracoids, left humerus, vertebrae, tarsometatarsi, and phalanges). Its type locality is Discovery Site, which is in an Eocene wet floodplain wackestone in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Discovery Site
