Type specimen: CM 41711, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is El Cobre Canyon, which is in a Missourian/Gzhelian dry floodplain siltstone in the Cutler Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at El Cobre Canyon
