Type specimen: FMNH PR 2379, a skeleton (nearly complete but weathered skeleton). Its type locality is Warfield Springs, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine deltaic limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Warfield Springs
