Type specimen: MHNT-VT 5154, a limb element (distal end of right tibiotarsus). Its type locality is Santa Fé Farm, which is in an Oligocene lacustrine claystone in the Tremembé Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Santa Fé Farm
