Type specimen: CU-MWC 225.1, a footprint. Its type locality is Philmont Ranch tracksite, North Ponil Canyon, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Raton Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Philmont Ranch tracksite, North Ponil Canyon
