Type specimen: SUT_02PB08, a carapace. Its type locality is Bung Sam Phan Section, Sample 02TH46, which is in a Wordian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone/lime mudstone in the Tak Fa Formation of Thailand.
