Type specimen: IVPP V11133, a maxilla (right maxilla with M2-3 + associated right dentary with m2). Its type locality is Bayan Ulan site (lower 3 m), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial siltstone in the Nomogen Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Bayan Ulan site (lower 3 m)
