Type specimen: LDM-LCA 9701-IV, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Quarry 1, Lao Chang Qing, which is in a Bajocian lacustrine mudstone in the Chuanjie Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry 1, Lao Chang Qing
