Type specimen: THR 141, a tooth (left [upper] M2). Its type locality is Adrar Mgorn 1, which is in a Thanetian peritidal limestone in the Jbel Guersif Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Adrar Mgorn 1
