Type specimen: CBI 33, a mandible (fragment of left mandible with P/3-M/3). Its type locality is Jebel Chambi, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian lacustrine limestone in the Chambi Formation of Tunisia.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Jebel Chambi
