Type specimen: AMNH 27388:1, a shell. Its type locality is Bed 6, Tamberia section, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Inca Formation of Peru.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Peru (2 collections), Venezuela (1)
