Sister taxa: Thomasites adkinsi, Thomasites gongilensis, Thomasites koulabicus, Thomasites rollandi, Thomasites wallsi
Type specimen: AMNH 27880.3, a shell. Its type locality is Bed 24, Tembladera section, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in Peru.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 77.5
Distribution: found only at Bed 24, Tembladera section
