Type specimen: NMBM 858, a partial shell. Its type locality is Cooks Range (1st piloceroid zone), which is in a Demingian shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Victorio Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cooks Range (1st piloceroid zone)
