Type specimen: RHF 352, a shell. Its type locality is Ikes Canyon, Toquima Range, which is in a Whiterockian carbonate limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Ikes Canyon, Toquima Range
