Type specimen: NMBM 653, a shell. Its type locality is Mud Springs Mountain (Mud Springs Mt. Fm.), which is in a Demingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Mud Springs Mountain Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mud Springs Mountain (Mud Springs Mt. Fm.)
