Type specimen: IVPP V12556, a partial skeleton (right femur). Its type locality is Xierhuqiao, Yixian (IVPP), which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Xierhuqiao, Yixian (IVPP)
