Type specimen: UWBM 98686, a shell. Its type locality is DV 1254-1-2, DV 1628 (Unit I+II) [Huacllaco beds], which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone in the Huacllaco Formation of Peru.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer

Distribution: found only at DV 1254-1-2, DV 1628 (Unit I+II) [Huacllaco beds]
