Belongs to Oonoceras according to J. Dzik and G. N. Kiselev 1995
Sister taxa: Ooceras lativentrum, Ooceras perkinsi, Ooceras seelyi
Type specimen: SPbGU I/III3 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Dagö Island, which is in a Lasnamagi open shallow subtidal limestone in the Kandle/Väo Formation of Estonia.
Distribution:
• Ordovician of Estonia (1 collection), Poland (2)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
