Type specimen: NSM PV20373, a tooth. Its type locality is Ichinotani, Fukuji, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Moscovian marine limestone in the Ichinotani Formation of Japan.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Ichinotani, Fukuji, Gifu Prefecture
