Sister taxa: Lyonsia (Endomargarus), Lyonsia arenosa, Lyonsia californica, Lyonsia heberti, Lyonsia hyalina, Lyonsia subaequilateralis, Lyonsia venturaensis

Type specimen: L. 80405, a shell. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.1986, Rakhi Nala, which is in a Bartonian marine shale in the Drazinda Formation of Pakistan.

Ecology: facultatively mobile deep infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: there are no occurrences of Lyonsia pakistanica in the database
