Sister taxa: Cinclidonema clausepeakensis, Cinclidonema molengraaffi, Cinclidonema texanum
Type specimen: MfN MB.Ga.2712.1. Its type locality is GI-I, Gara el Itima, which is in a Brigantian basinal (siliciclastic) shale in the Hamou-Rhanem Formation of Morocco.
