Type specimen: USNM 563459, a test. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 20001 - ridge between Candelaria and Río Ciruelas, which is in a Miocene/Miocene offshore siliciclastic in Costa Rica.
Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore
Distribution: found only at USGS Loc. 20001 - ridge between Candelaria and Río Ciruelas
