Type specimen: ANSP 52883, a partial shell. Its type locality is Chancellor Point [St. Marys Fm], which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the St Marys Formation of Maryland.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Chancellor Point [St. Marys Fm]
