Type specimen: No number, a shell. Its type locality is Rio Pirabas (Maury coll.), which is in a Miocene shallow subtidal limestone/limestone in the Pirabas Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Rio Pirabas (Maury coll.)
