Type specimen: M.L.P. 72-IV-4-2, a partial skull (snout and posterior part of skull). Its type locality is Confluence of the Laguna and Casa Grande Rivers, Mina Aguilar, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Confluence of the Laguna and Casa Grande Rivers, Mina Aguilar
