Type specimen: JZMP-V-12, a partial skeleton (Incomplete skeleton with partial rostrum). Its type locality is Jingangshan, Yixian (IVPP), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Jingangshan, Yixian (IVPP)
