Type specimen: USNM 646694, a shell. Its type locality is Location 42i, Gatun Lake area [Bohio Fm], which is in an Oligocene coastal wackestone in the Bohio Formation of Panama.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Location 42i, Gatun Lake area [Bohio Fm]
