Type specimen: ONG/K/16, a maxilla (left maxilla with dp1-m2). Its type locality is Sindkhatudi Bone Bed, which is in a Lutetian lagoonal mudstone/siltstone in India.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Sindkhatudi Bone Bed
