Type specimen: RGM 401 880, a partial skeleton (Skull and postcrania). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Santana Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general)
