Sister taxon: Coronakirkbya hamori
Type specimen: USNM 118487. Its type locality is USNM703c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
Ecology: epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at USNM703c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains
