Sister taxa: Kindlella bellsundi, Kindlella fissiloba, Kindlella minuta, Kindlella mostleri
Type specimen: USNM 118489. Its type locality is USNM703c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
