Type specimen: USNM 90128. Its type locality is Cottonwood River Bridge, shale on top of buff limestone, Elmdale, which is in a Gzhelian shallow subtidal shale in the Elmdale Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Permian of China (2 collections)

• Carboniferous of United States (1: Kansas)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
