Sister taxa: Camenella admiranda, Camenella baltica, Camenella garbowskae, Camenella korolevi, Camenella kozlowskii, Camenella reticulosa
Type specimen: X 2129 (sellate sclerite). Its type locality is Samples Pokrovskaya 95/78 & Korobov 10K 1970, Salaany Gol Section, which is in a Botomian reef, buildup or bioherm conglomerate in the Khairkhan Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder

• Cambrian of Mongolia (2 collections)
