Type specimen: GSC 97092, a shell (Conjoined shell). Its type locality is GSC 53720, Section 116H-1B, Peel River, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Jungle Creek Formation of Canada.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Permian of Canada (14: Yukon collections), the Russian Federation (3)
