Sister taxa: Larispirifer balikelikeensis, Larispirifer ettrainensis, Larispirifer jigulensis, Larispirifer tarimensis

Type specimen: MPUM9460, a valve (Ventral valve). Its type locality is Dorud East IR52, which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Dorud Formation of Iran.
