Type specimen: BMNH 1996.045.01 (articulated specimen). Its type locality is Top of quarry, north side of Wisconsin State Rte 81, 6.4 km west of Rte 213, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Grand Detour Formation of Wisconsin.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer

Distribution: found only at Top of quarry, north side of Wisconsin State Rte 81, 6.4 km west of Rte 213
