Type specimen: SDSNH 60426, a tooth (Rm1). Its type locality is Spring Canyon, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial mudstone in the Pomerado Formation of California.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Spring Canyon
