Type specimen: PVSJ 605, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Herrera de la base, La Gallinita, which is in a Carnian channel sandstone in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Herrera de la base, La Gallinita
