Type specimens:
- Striithyris somaliensis: Its type locality is Bihendula, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bihen Limestone Formation of Somalia
- Striithyris saudiarabica: Its type locality is Ajibba, S296, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia.
- Striithyris striata: Its type locality is Haisiyan Pass, S1458, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia.
