Type specimen: PU 18012, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is White Butte/Turtle Valley, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial claystone in the Golden Valley Formation of North Dakota.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at White Butte/Turtle Valley
