Type specimen: holotype: 8995, Geological Survey, Ottawa. Its type locality is Starfish Creek, Peace River canyon, which is in an Albian marine shale/sandstone in the Hasler Formation of Canada.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Starfish Creek, Peace River canyon
