Sister taxon: Luangwa sudamericana
Type specimen: BPI 3727, a skull. Its type locality is Locality 15, Upper Luangwa Valley, 3.5 miles west of Sitwe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial mudstone in the Ntawere Formation of Zambia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Locality 15, Upper Luangwa Valley, 3.5 miles west of Sitwe
