Type specimen: RRBP 08631 (virtually complete, articulated skull and skeleton). Its type locality is Locality RRBP 2007-04, which is in a Cenomanian/Campanian fluvial sandstone in the Galula Formation of Tanzania.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Locality RRBP 2007-04
