Type specimen: DCG-MLP 356f, a valve (Dorsal valve). Its type locality is La Herradura Creek, Bed 8, which is in a Moscovian deltaic siltstone in the Tupe Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at La Herradura Creek, Bed 8
