Type specimen: MB Am 619-638, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Baerecke-Limpricht clay pit, Halberstadt (bed 16), which is in a Rhaetian floodplain sandstone in the Trossingen Formation of Germany.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Baerecke-Limpricht clay pit, Halberstadt (bed 16)
