Sister taxa: Dichostasia complex, Dichostasia simplex, Dichostasia solariiformis
Type specimen: AMNH 40862. Its type locality is H.S. Lee Mine No. 8, Kinta Valley near Kampar, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the H.S. Lee Formation of Malaysia.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 3.60
Distribution: found only at H.S. Lee Mine No. 8, Kinta Valley near Kampar
